Day Camp is for Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade for the 2022-2023 school year. Each day of Day Camp will swim, play games, make a craft, learn scouting skills and have fun. Scouts will also earn their rank specific Shooting Sports patch in archery and BB gun. This registration offers a deposit to reserve your spot through April 30, 2022. Deposits are non-refundable and remaining payments must be made by May 1st, 2022 online.

Registration information....PLEASE READ FIRST!!!!

Registration is set up to be done Individually or by Pack.  Council highly suggests registering as a Pack so that you can track your scouts and den walkers.  You can pay by e-check or credit card online.  

UNITS THAT ARE UNABLE TO REGISTER ONLINE MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE DEPARTMENT AT 210-341-8611 TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION OF THE UNIT. 

Please collect the following information before registering:

Cub Scout: t-shirt size, cub scout rank while at camp.

DEN WALKERS: Registration information - Mailing address, birth date, full legal name (required information for a background check), what days willing to volunteer.  No free shirts will be given to adults, if you would like a Day Camp T-shirt to wear, please order one during registration ($12-$14)

Each Pack must provide one (1) walking den leader for the week for up to 5 scouts registered. (Can be rotating parents). CLARIFICATION: 1 TO 5 SCOUTS = 1 WALKING DEN LEADER, 6 TO 10 SCOUTS = 2 WALKING DEN LEADERS, ETC. 

Den Walker Training  - The Camp Director will notify you of these required trainings once the dates are set. 

Tigers: (those that just graduated kindergarten) must have a Tiger Parent present every day at camp. Tiger Parents must register as a Walking Den Leader and note that they are a Tiger Parent when prompted during registration. If the parent is unable to attend every day, we suggest that you consider attending our Tiger Day Camp which is just two days over a weekend at McGimsey Scout Park June 11-12, 2022.  Register here for this event: https://mycouncil.alamoareabsa.org/Event/12472

Volunteer Staff Support - This is for volunteers who have been selected to work a program station.  Each volunteer staff member may receive one free t-shirt for working the week and one free scout (family member). You will need to contact the Outdoor Adventure Department to register the scout at no charge (adventure@alamoareabsa.org or 210-341-8611)

DEN CHIEFS: must be under the supervision of a Boy Scout Troop Leader, a Cub Scout Pack Leader or a Parent or Guardian who is a registered adult on-site. Den Chiefs are required to submit a completed health form and a copy of their Den Chief training certification in order to participate as a Den Chief.  Den Chiefs may purchase an adult sized t-shirt during registration if they would like a shirt to wear at camp, no free shirts will be given.

Me Toos: Me Too's are offered for volunteer parents who will be at camp at the same time as the Me Too's.  Me Too's must be 4-5 years of age and must be out of diapers! Me Too's will not receive t-shirts, but you may purchase one during registration. Older than 5 years we encourage them to register as a scout and attend as a full participant.
