The Scouting for Food community service act is a long-standing tradition of the BSA because of the constant need to help struggling neighbors.
Bag Pickup - August 29 - September 1:
Preprinted bags will be available at the AAC Service Center between the dates of August 29 and Sep. 1 during normal business hours (M-Th, 9-5), so you can distribute them to your Scouts, or pick them up for your family to participate individually.
Event week - September 2 - 16:
Distribute your bags around your community this week!
Participants should have picked up bags from the AAC Service Center, but if you have not, it's not too late! Scouts will have until September 16 to distribute the bags and collect donations.
Collection date - September 17, 2022, 9am - 2pm:
This is the date Scouts need to bring the non-perishable food donations they gathered to the AAC Service Center. Come in uniform or unit T-shirts for photos.
