One adult will be free for every eight scouts attending. (No Fractions).
Fees are only refundable according to the Council Refund Policy which can be found at https://www.alamoareabsa.org/about-us/refund-policy/. Refunds will not be given at camp, all refunds will be processed after the camp session. We encourage troops to be careful not to overpay. If in doubt, consult the information on this page or contact us. The Council refund policy will apply to all over payments. Refunds must be requested according to the Council Refund Policy. NOTE: A CHANGE TO YOUR UNIT'S NUMBERS DOES NOT QUALIFY AS A REFUND REQUEST.
Some additional costs may be involved for certain programs (i.e. ammunition for shooting sports, craft kits for craft merit badges, etc.), These items will be added to your fees during class sign up and must be paid in full upon class sign up. Scouts should come appropriately prepared based on their program choices. See the Leader's Guide for more details.
Unit Registrations:
There is a $150.00 deposit required when submitting this reservation. Deposits are non-refundable or transferable and are INCLUDED in the total of fees paid.
In January 2023 you will receive access to a new MyCouncil registration where you will manage the remainder of your registration, to include making all remaining payments and class sign up.
ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE ENTERED AND FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY MAY 1st.
Class sign up will open on May 4th, 2023. The Merit Badge registration system on MyCouncil will open on the same day for all sessions. Class registrations will close on May 17th, 2023.

Campsites will be assigned based on the number of scouts and leaders attending camp. Note that we cannot guarantee that your troop will be assigned to any particular site. You will receive your campsite assignment around the third week of May. If you have requests, please send them to bearcreek@alamoareabsa.org
Provisional Scout Information:
- Scouts attending provisional camp should plan to arrive at Bear Creek around 2:00 PM on Sunday. Scouts should be picked up no later than 9:30 AM on Saturday.
- Each Scout must bring a completed physical, including emergency contact information. Any and all medications must be in their original container and will only be dispensed as prescribed on the bottle. Scouts are responsible for going to the Health Lodge for their medications.
- This program is intended for Scouts who cannot attend camp with their own troop and for Scouts wanting to attend camp twice. If at all possible, troops with more than four Scouts attending provisionally should provide leadership and camp as a unit.
- Provisional scouts should review the Leaders Guide and come to camp prepared to participate in the programs of their choice. This includes doing the prerequisites listed.
- If a Scout has special dietary needs, please call our dining hall one week prior to camp at 830-238-4084 and email bearcreek@alamoareabsa.org . Our cooks can accommodate most needs with prior notice.
- Please note - if we are under COVID protocols, provisional scouts will be required to have an adult with them at camp to be their own "cohort".
