Winter Merit Badge University (MBE) is an annual event hosted by the Alamo Area Council, Boy Scouts of America that gives Boy Scouts, ages 11-17, the opportunity during the Holidays to earn merit badges ranging from recreational activities to Eagle Scout merit badges

REGISTRATION PROCESS - PLEASE READ FIRST!!!

Registration is a two step process...

The Troop Contact must first register the unit. If you are a unit leader or the unit's registration contact, click the orange button above to register your unit.

  1. Unit leaders or Troop Contacts register participants through the unit's page. This is the only way that participants can register. Please contact your unit leader to get scouts registered as a participant.

ONLY TROOP CONTACTS CAN REGISTER SCOUTS

  • Registration closes December 21, 2015. (no exceptions)

Please Note: Council Office Hours are M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm, Closed Weekends.

Click the orange Register Online button to register your unit. Once your unit has been registered, you can add participants and manage class schedules from your unit's page. (Click Unit Search Link to find your unit's page)

The person registering the unit becomes the unit's contact for this event. This individual will be the person who will be used as the communication point for this event and will have the following responsibilities:

Troop Contact Responsibilities:

  • All communication to troop about event
  • Registering all participants and managing their class schedules
  • Payments by troop to council for the event
    • Council working on having online payments available for this event.
  • Submitting participants A&B health forms as a unit package
  • Work with the council to resolve any potential conflicts that may arise
  • Registering all participants and managing their class schedules
